"Comic relief was provided by Joe Aguilar, the guitarist in Best Rock winners The Burning of Rome. He picked up the podium on the stage and began to carry it away — a wry allusion to accusations that his band had appropriated the podium from last year’s edition of the the San Diego Music Awards."
