EURYTHMICS “SWEET DREAMS (ARE MADE OF THIS)” CELEBRATES 40TH ANNIVERSARY
Eurythmics co-founders Dave Stewart and Annie Lennox, celebrate the 40th anniversary of their era-defining, iconic album Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This).
The duo just had an electric year, being inducted into the Songwriters and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Dave Stewart reflects that “I think being inducted in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, for me, was great because instead of some thinking, ‘Oh, that’s the “Sweet Dreams” synthesizer duo,’ it’s like, ‘No, we were a fucking full-on assault of the senses.’”
