DAVE STEWART AWARD-WINNING, MUSIC HALL OF FAME ICON, ENTREPRENEUR AND OVERALL CREATIVE FORCE JOINS PRS FOR MUSIC
Dave Stewart, the acclaimed singer, songwriter, producer and Eurythmics co-founder, has joined PRS for worldwide music royalty collection.
The multi-award-winning music creator, whose has racked up over 100 million album sales during his storied career, joins over 175,000 talented songwriters, composers and music publishers who comprise the PRS membership collective.

Among Dave’s extensive career achievements are his numerous accolades, which include four Ivor Novello Awards, four BRIT Awards (including a Lifetime Achievement Award), a Golden Globe and a Grammy.
Along with his Eurythmics bandmate Annie Lennox, the Sunderland-born musician was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2022. The duo have also entered the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Grammy Hall of Fame, the latter for their classic song Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This).
In addition to his own music, Dave has co-written and produced songs for the likes of Bob Dylan, Bryan Ferry, Aretha Franklin, Al Green, Daryl Hall, Mick Jagger, Damian Marley, Stevie Nicks, Sinéad O’Connor, Tom Petty and Gwen Stefani.
He recently collaborated with Joss Stone in scoring the West End musical The Time Traveller’s Wife, and worked with Glen Ballard on the Broadway hit Ghost the Musical, which will continue its global run in 2025.
Dave is currently working with What’s Love Got to Do With It? director Shekhar Kapur on the feature-length musical, Ebony McQueen. A coming-of-age story inspired by Dave’s teen years in the north-east of England in the late ‘60s and early ‘70s, the film will be shaped by the music that sparked his own journey to becoming a musician.
Dave joins a roster of world-class songwriters and composers whose rights are administered by PRS, including Billie Eilish, Dave Grohl, Finneas, the George Michael estate, Greta Van Fleet, Gwen Stefani and Of Monsters & Men.
