Dave Stewart Joins Daryl Hall For Latest Episode of ‘Live From Daryl’s House’

Daryl Hall is joined by longtime collaborator and fellow Hall of Fame inductee Dave Stewart on a brand-new episode of the award-winning series Live from Daryl’s House, streaming now on YouTube. The episode features performances from Hall’s sixth solo album, D, released in June 2024 on Virgin Records—his first solo effort in 13 years. Stewart co-produced and co-wrote seven of the album’s nine original tracks. Watch the full episode HERE.

Also appearing is Australian singer/songwriter Vanessa Amorosi, who has previously recorded with Stewart at his Bay Street Records studio in the Bahamas.

“Great to be playing the D songs live with Dave,” said Hall. “I’ve been waiting for this.”

The episode marks a creative reunion for Hall and Stewart, who first worked together on Hall’s 1986 solo album Three Hearts in the Happy Ending Machine. D has already produced two Top 20 Adult Contemporary hits: “The Whole World’s Better” and “Can’t Say No to You.”

“Dave has been my shadow partner since 1984,” Hall added. “This album was a true 50-50 collaboration—writing together, most of it on the spot. We’ve always had that kind of connection.”

“Daryl and I go way back,” said Stewart, co-founder of Eurythmics. “Our friendship has lasted over 40 years, and writing songs together still feels effortless. Playing these new tracks at Daryl’s House was as fun as ever.”
