SURFDOG WELCOMES THE BURNING OF ROME!

The Burning of Rome

We would like to welcome The Burning of Rome to the Surfdog roster.  We can't wait for the rest of the world to get infected by their blistering live shows and melodic hooks.  If Danzig and Danny Elfman had a love child, this is what would be waking you up at 4 in the morning.  Blending gypsy punk, dance, and rock into a mind-bending stew, this is music for the new world.

Congratulations Brian!

A Message From Surfdog Records:

Dave Stewart and Stevie Nicks recording with a little help from a Heartbreaker

- Ethrill.net

As reported Dave Stewart (of Eurythmics of course) and the not less legendary Stevie Nicks (of Fleetwood Mac of course) are working together on new songs at the moment in Los Angeles and the writing and recording sessions are going great (see previous news posts here). Already known was that the amazing violinist Ann Marie Calhoun is contributing to the recordings as well but now another top musician is on board as Dave Stewart revealed on Twitter:

“Just finished playing guitar with Mike Campbell (tom Petty) in studio and Stevie Nicks singing”

“Mike Campbell has amazing 12 string guitar riff[s] and he has unique melodic sensibility as a guitarist”
